Mirror

Crafted from fragments of locally sourced ceramic waste, our new mirror is more than a design object – it’s a reflection of change. Assembled through a unique process, discarded material is transformed into a new porcelain body, one that begins to glaze itself, settling into a satin-like surface that mirrors even before it reflects. A final layer of glaze adds depth, creating a subtle three-dimensional effect.

The brown piece is infused with pigment that allows for lower firing temperatures, reducing its environmental impact. The white version is made from a clay composed of 70% recycled material.

While our previous work has focused on functional design, this mirror invites a different kind of encounter. Unlike a cup, it is not defined by use alone, but by experience. As a wall piece, it draws the viewer closer, to look deeper, to feel the satin texture, and to experience the subtle dialogue between reflection and material.
